They were sturdy and well-made but the finishes were painted on and felt like a combination of plastic and MDF. They also are not flat packed so that reduced shipping efficiency. <\/p>\n<p>Our Sofas used much better material, and our cost break down was about $420 in materials which includes about 1.6 sheets of the plywood, screws, sandpaper, and finish. Once we started batching them out took about 16 hours each.
