Cred to @charlie.gee__ on IG for showcasing how million years turn into art.
This guy decided to make one of humanity’s hardest jobs look so artistic that it led him to land a job on a structure most stonemasons only dream of.
A stonemason named Charlie is practicing one of the oldest art forms in human history
And there’s something strangely satisfying about watching someone be able to control the oldest and hardest material on earth with almost surgical precision
But here’s the crazy part – stone is probably the least forgiving material a human can work with
Because every hammer strike has to transfer force in exactly the right direction and one wrong hit can ruin hours of work
But his skill was so impressive that now he’s hired to work on restoring the Cologne Cathedral
