Six Abstract Paintings Anyone Can Do
This is from a previous Patreon video. For the most current tutorials, please visit https://www.patreon.com/andreanelson
This tutorial is aimed at helping all of you who say that a need for perfection prevents you from making art, finishing art, enjoying art, and on and on!
We are going to make six little abstract pieces by doing the following:
Having no expectation about what it will look like at the end
Focusing on what feels right in the moment
Using whatever supplies we have
Looking at the six pieces as a whole and moving around them quickly
This tutorial is a little different in that you won’t be making something that looks exactly like mine. Yours will be completely different. You don’t even need to use the same materials that I use. You can use literally anything that you have on hand. This might include paint of any kind, colored pencils, markers, pens, paint pens, crayons, pastels, watersoluble pastels, and ink. You may also want to grab some unconventional materials to play around with. This can be things like a stick, bubble wrap, shelf liner, cardboard, salt, and cling wrap.
Here’s what I used in the video:
Some of these supplies can be found on my Website at https://www.cozylark.com/ but any supplies will work
A4 watercolor paper
24 color essential palette but you only need one color!
Watercolor brushes
Fineliner pen

Colored pencils
