Zuckerberg leaves California to avoid wealth tax, buys Florida ‘billionaire bunker’

Sky News host Freya Leach details how Mark Zuckerberg has left California and bought a multi-hundred-million-dollar house in Florida named the “billionaire bunker” to avoid a one-off five per cent wealth tax in California.

“Mark Zuckerberg is upping and leaving California, he’s just bought a multi-hundred-million-dollar house in Florida, which is now been nicknamed the ‘billionaire bunker’,” Ms Leach said.

“It’s because there’s pressure mounting in California to implement a one-off five per cent wealth tax on everyone with a net worth of over $1 billion.”
